Learning About Radiation and Breast Cancer

Here I am in my early 40's and I have yet to have a mammogram as a baseline to measure future images. My greatest concern and why I have not pursued this is the information linking breast cancer to mammograms.


There is another alternative, however, called thermography which is proven to be safe in comparision by not changing the cell's micro-environment.

However, I have read that one should not be used exclusively without the other and that Mammograms are still the gold standard in early breast cancer detection.
