Time with Old Friends

It was great spending time with old friends this weekend. It's the kind of friendship that even after months of not being together, it seems like hardly any time has past when we meet again.

Yesterday was such a day when our family spent an afternoon and evening with a couple of families we have been friends with for almost 17 years. When we are together it's like being with relatives even though we seldom see each other anymore.

One treasures those types of friendships. No matter what happens in life, we always have that family feeling when together.

I look forward to the holidays when we can re-unite again and enjoy one another's company and laugh at the good old days with expectancy for the future.
