When Indoor Air Humidity Goes Wrong

O.K. I am having such a difficult time regulating the indoor air humidity. We are now in the middle of a heat wave and the air conditioner will not stop. The air is dried out in here and my skin hates it. I have just plugged in the cold mist humidifier to help my dehydrated skin out. But this is ridiculous because it is way too humid outside. However, humidity of that nature causes my lungs to flare up resulting in asthma symptoms.

I found this article that explains the dilemma most people face but unfortunately I'm too sensitive to humidity shifts.

Of course dealing with dry air can cause lip chapping as well.

Humidity and Asthma

This has been the worse spring for me. I am very upset that I am developing an interolerance for changes in air and humidity levels combined with ozone. Is this normal for being over 40? I was hoping that I would not have this problem but it looks like this is my second year with it and I'm not sure why my airways are compromised.

This forum discusses humidity in relation to asthma.

My ND has me on Sulpher 30ch now twice a day. I sure hope it helps. In the meantime I'm trying to get off Flovent but I'm having a feeling it will be tougher than expected since this seems to be a very humid start to the summer.
